What are bipolar disorder symptoms?

Bipolar disorder

We define bipolar disorder as a state of mental illness that involves extreme mood swings. We categorize these extremes into two extremes, extremely high, which leads to mania. Second, extremely low, which leads to depression. Episodes of depression and manic last from several weeks to several months.

Remember

Individuals with bipolar disorder don't follow the same pattern of behavior when experiencing episodes of extreme highs and lows. There are unique patterns of depression and mania among individuals. People who suffer from this disorder do not have to follow the same pattern as others. The severity of these episodes may vary from person to person and can change from time to time. It may also become less or more severe.
